Tell me about it. I just tried working out a payment agreement with Chase today and I was flat out told no and how they were gonna send it to an outside agency unless I settled it now. Yeah, let me pull 2800 outta my ass. Oh? Withdraw from my 401K? Sure, cuz people that get paid minimum wage and work in a restaurant have that kind of option. AFTEr I had told her I had recently been unemployed and just found a job at a restaurant. Yeah, I'm hiding a 401K under my bed. Funny, Capital One was able to work out a payment agreement with me.

And then she started to get a little rude with me when I explained to her I didn't have a 401K. Like, what the heck? She really thinks everyone in the world has one of those? Whatever.

[...] If you are having difficulty with your Chase credit card because they jacked up the rate and upped your minimum payment, so the fees keep adding up, take note of one customer who tried without fail to get Chase to be more reasonable and then months later they called her out of the blue to offer her a lower payments and a 6% interest rate. Strange. (story) [...]
